SPECIAL CONDITIONS - LODGE AT VAIL RENOVATION
Renovation Start Date: August 13, 2104
Projected Completion Date: December 1, 2014
Guest Rooms & Corridors:
Renovations to our 56 guest rooms include interior finishes, mountain chic furnishings, lighting and the installation of air conditioning. Additionally, the resort corridors, main stairways and lobby will also be under renovation. In order to ensure a positive guest experience during your stay, guests will be housed in the International Wing. Please note: While the International Wing and Residences are not included in the renovation project, this area is not completely isolated from the construction areas of the resort and some noise is to be expected. We are working to minimize the impact of your vacation experience.
Due to the lobby’s extensive refresh which includes painting, flooring, furnishings, textiles, artwork and lighting, guests will be escorted to a remote satellite front desk for check-in and guest services upon arrival.
Minimal noise disruption is expected in public and exterior areas and resort amenities including the RockResorts Spa®, outdoor pool and hot tubs and Elway’s restaurant will remain open. Please note: There will be no group fitness classes offered during the renovation and Cucina at The Lodge at Vail will be closed October 6 through November 20, 2014.
The Lodge at Vail to Undergo Significant Renovations
Since 1962, The Lodge at Vail has been a prime destination for visitors both frequent and new. Combining a perfect location and exemplary service with the famously classic ambiance of an alpine-inspired Vail hotel, The Lodge at Vail, A RockResort prides itself in being the first lodging establishment in Vail. While maintaining its historic charm, The Lodge at Vail constantly strives for ways to enhance the experience and quality of service offered to hotel guests. In 2008, The Lodge at Vail’s International Wing underwent renovations, and this August through December 2014 our remaining 56 hotel rooms will be completely renovated.
The renovation includes interior finishes, furnishings, soft goods, lighting and the installation of air conditioning. Additionally, the hotel’s corridors, main stairways and lobby will receive upgrades as well. The lobby’s refresh will include new furnishings, textiles, paint, artwork and lighting designed to maintain the authentic character and cozy ambiance for which the boutique hotel is known.
The property will remain open for business during the renovations, with all hotel amenities accessible to guests including spa, restaurants and other public areas.
