The Lodge at Vail, one of the most celebrated mountain resort hotels in the world, expertly combines the Old World intimacy and charm of a European alpine inn with the exceptional modern amenities and services found in today’s finest hotels.

In keeping with this tradition of excellence, The Lodge at Vail and its surroundings are undergoing an extensive transformation (known as Vail’s Front Door Project) that will enhance the guest experience and set the standard for luxury mountain resorts.

The Front Door Project, which began in June 2006 and is scheduled to be completed in March 2008, includes exciting new developments such as 13 luxury chalet residences, a state-of-the-art RockResorts^TM Spa at The Lodge at Vail, a exclusive ski club, a new skier services center, a new outdoor event venue and more.  

Owing to The Lodge at Vail’s ideal location at the base of Vail Mountain in the heart of Vail Village, guests of The Lodge may experience some disruptions during their stay. Certain routes to The Lodge at Vail will be inaccessible, though there will be signage to guide guests upon arrival in Vail Village. In addition, portions of the parking lot at The Lodge will accommodate construction equipment from time to time, so parking may be limited and construction-related visual and noise disruptions may be a factor. The legendary hospitality, exceptional accommodations and award winning restaurants for which The Lodge at Vail is renown, as well as its pool, saunas, exercise facility, bar, public areas and the vast majority of guest rooms, will not be affected during this construction period.
